Do you own or manage a restaurant, catering firm or other small business? If so, this is the event for you! Come join the PCA for an educational event to learn about the intricacies of labor laws impacting small business. Alyssa Engelberg, a Portland-based attorney who specializes in employment law, will be presenting and answering questions. 

Topics to be covered include the new Oregon Sick Leave Act which begins in 2016, rules around contract workers versus employees, and other laws that impact culinary businesses.

Who: Both members and non-members welcome to attend!

What: Networking with Portland's culinary professionals like restaurant owners, pastry chefs, cookbook authors, bloggers, caterers, and PR. 

Cost: Free but food and drinks are no host.

When: Last Tuesday of every month!
